Yes! Stanza is completely free to use. You can create an account, write poetry, share your work, and engage with the community at no cost. We believe creative expression should be accessible to everyone.

Personas allow you to maintain multiple creative identities under one account. You might have a persona for serious poetry, another for experimental work, or one for collaborative projects. Each persona has its own profile, followers, and content.

Inner Circles are private groups where you can share work with a select audience. They're perfect for workshopping drafts, collaborating with other poets, or sharing more personal pieces. Only invited members can see content shared in an Inner Circle.

Absolutely! Stanza supports audio recordings for spoken word poetry. You can record directly in the app or upload pre-recorded performances. Your audio is accompanied by waveform visualizations for an engaging listening experience.

You do! You retain full copyright ownership of all your creative work. Stanza only has a limited license to display and store your content as necessary to operate the platform. See our Copyright Policy for details.

Reactions let you respond to poetry with more nuance than a simple "like." Cheers show appreciation, Encores request more from the poet, and Tomatoes (given playfully) indicate constructive criticism. All reactions help creators understand their audience.

We're currently in web beta. Native iOS and Android apps are planned for late 2025. For now, you can use Stanza through your mobile browser at app.stanza.ink.
